Ⅲ. Anchors of Blacksky

[BSK EXiLE]

The Anchors of Blacksky

An Honor of Extraordinary Service and Enduring Legacy

Overview

The Anchors of Blacksky are individuals formally recognized for extraordinary contributions to the establishment, preservation, development, or continuity of Blacksky. Their designation honors those whose actions have shaped the Imperium's identity, strengthened its foundations, or sustained its existence through defining periods of its history.

The designation of Anchor of Blacksky is among the highest institutional honors the Imperium may bestow. It is not attained through promotion, election, tenure, certification, or conventional advancement. Recognition is rare by design and reserved for individuals whose contributions have become an enduring part of Blacksky's history.

Nature of the Designation

Anchor of Blacksky is a permanent institutional designation, not an operational rank or position of command. It grants no additional authority, promotion, or standing within Blacksky's established chain of command.

An Anchor may serve at any level of the Imperium. Their existing rank, responsibilities, and authority remain unchanged by the designation. An Anchor serving as an Exarch exercises the authority of an Exarch; an Anchor serving as a Custodian remains equal in rank and authority to other Custodians.

Recognition as an Anchor neither removes an individual from active service nor requires them to hold a leadership position.

Designation and Permanence

The authority to designate an Anchor of Blacksky belongs exclusively to BSK EXiLE — The Architect. Individuals may be recommended for recognition, but final designation rests solely with EXiLE and cannot be inherited, transferred, or exercised by another authority.

There is no prescribed minimum or maximum number of Anchors. Blacksky preserves the distinction not through numerical limitation, but through the extraordinary standard required for recognition.

Once granted, the designation is permanent. It cannot be revoked, inherited, or transferred. An Anchor's departure, retirement, or subsequent disgrace does not erase their historical recognition. Blacksky preserves the record of both honorable contributions and subsequent actions without rewriting its past.

Closing Statement

The Anchors of Blacksky are not defined by command, rank, or authority, but by the significance of their contributions to the Imperium.

Their paths of service may differ. Their accomplishments may belong to different eras. Yet each has earned a permanent place within Blacksky's institutional history.

Empires may change. Command may shift. Legions may rise and fall.

The foundation endures.
